          Improved north-south access between Sunset Park / Borough Park and Bay Ridge / Bensonhurst with through routes along Ft. Hamilton Parkway, and 13th / 14th Avenues.

Bensonhurst / Sheepshead Bay / Gerritsen Beach

Ø   Connects Gerritsen Beach to a significant portion of Brooklyn with one direct bus route by extending the B31 (renumbered B2) along Coney Island Avenue and Avenue X to the Best Buy Shopping Center on Bay Parkway in Bensonhurst.

Park Slope / Sunset Park

Ø  Combines B64 and B70 to form new B66 service from Cosco via 8^th Avenue, Ft. Hamilton Parkway, Cropsey and Bath Avenues to Coney Island.

Downtown Brooklyn / Kensington / Midwood

Ø  Direct bus service to Tillary Street, Downtown Brooklyn for the most heavily utilized portion of the Coney Island Avenue route by splitting the B68 into two overlapping routes.

Kings County / Maimonides Hospitals

Ø      Greatly improves access to Kings County Hospital from the north, east and west.

Ø      New direct service from Borough Park (Maimonides Hospital) to the Kings Hway area, Brighton Beach and Coney Island via 49/50^th Sts and Coney Island Avenue  (Service Sun - Fri only)

Ø   Provides North-South access to Maimonides Hospital via
Ft. Hamilton Pkway.  Increased service on 49^th/50^th Streets in Borough Park.

Bay Ridge / Bensonhurst / Kings H'way / Marine Park

Ø     Easier access between Bay Ridge, Bensonhurst, Kings Highway, Marine Park, Old Mill Basin and Bergen Beach via new 65^th Street service.

Coney Island / Sheepshead Bay / Kings Plaza

Ø       New Knapp Street service to Kings Plaza.
