Southeast Brooklyn

               Flatbush / Crown Heights / East Flatbush

Ø      Splits B49 service into two services, B49 and B50  provides continuous, simpler and direct service for virtually the entire length of Ocean Avenue  (Limited Stop when required between Foster Ave & Avenue Z)

Ø      Vastly improves access between Flatbush and East Flatbush by providing new east-west routes along the full length of Empire Blvd, and Clarkson Avenue relieving overcrowding on the B42 and B35 and filling a service gap on Empire Blvd.

Old Mill Basin / Flatlands/ Bergen Beach

Ø      Brighton Express Station Access from Flatlands, Georgetown, Old Mill Basin, and Bergen Beach via rerouted B9..

Ø      Access to the Kings Highway express station of the Brighton Line for Avenue U riders east of Flatbush Avenue via an extension of the existing B2 (renumbered B1).

Ø     Provides new service to the Georgetown Shopping Center along Avenues J and K and new connections to the Brooklyn College Flatbush Avenue Station of the Nostrand Avenue IRT  2  and 5.

Canarsie

Ø      Improved service to Canarsie from Western Brooklyn via new  local service along Avenue L providing a connection to the Flatbush Avenue Station of the Nostrand Avenue IRT  2  and  5.

Ø      Peak Hour B42  service to Seaview Village.

ENY / Gateway Center / Brooklyn Developmental Center

Ø    New routes to Gateway Center. (B14, B81 Limited, & Q8)..

Ø      Extend the Q8 to Gateway Center, operating limited stop from Euclid Avenue Station.

Ø       Service to the 105th Street Station of  the L  Line from East New York.

Ø      Reinstitute and extend B18 (not shown on map), returning B13 to former route in Cypress Hills.

Ø      Reinstitutes former B40 service along Liberty Avenue with an extension of the B65.

New Airport Services to JFK

Ø      Local Service via B19 from Flatbush / Nostrand Junction, East Flatbush and Canarsie.

Ø      Limited Stop Service via Belt Parkway / B22 from Bay Ridge, Bensonhurst, Sheepshead Bay, Flatlands and Canarsie.

Ø JFK buses from Brooklyn should stop at Cross Bay Blvd. / Conduit Ave to facilitate transfers to Queens buses.
